Anyone ever replace a radiator core support?
I think I need a new one, but maybe not. Anyone bought one from China on-line? I heard they were not that great but would like to know from someone's experience. Maybe a junk yard one would be better, but maybe trying to pull/fix the one I have, leaving it in-place, would be better yet.
Look over these pics and tell me which way to go!

I did Tripn88's hypotenuse check, the passenger side is one inch less. Repairable? Though actually I think the whole top of the core is pushed back. Can anyone measure the gap between the A/C pulley and the fan shroud for me? mine is 3/4"

I will measure when I get home tonight. It looks as only 1 side is pushed in. The passenger side with the crumpled fender. If it's only 3/4 of an inch it is easily repairable. Chain it to a tree or take it to a body shop they have a hydraulic puller to straighten it. As long as all your gaps are good around the fender to door area and fender to hood area it should be good.

Doesn't look visibly out of line really, if it's bent back a bit would probably be easiest to park in front of a tree, and attatch a ratchet strap to said bent area and ratchet away until it's where it needs to be, if you do indeed require a new one, they aren't that bad to replace just a time involved process and cam be had at the yard for supper cheap.

I'd be okay with that if I knew where it needed to be. I don't want to pull the core and reassemble everything only to have the headlights shooting into the sky. How do stock measurements compare to mine?

un bolt the quarterpanels from the suppoert and see if you can't bring the top of it back forward and then see if you can't fix the corners of the wuarters to where they will bolt back up to the support. Ive never measured them out before when I've fixed them, but it's usually more of the whole support being angled back towards the truck than the whole thing being bent.
