Default Anyone have a keyless remote with an FCC ID KOBUT1BT on 98+?

IF your keyles entry is functioning properly, can you pop down the black panel that has the OBD2 connector comming through it and see what the the GM part number and the FCC ID on the little black box is? This would be helpful to me since my receiver (the part you will be looking at) has been replaced with the non-original one. Thanks.

Could always check ebay my truck came with keyless entry but no remotes I found the FCC ID and bought 2 remotes off ebay (keylessride was the store) for $10 each came with instructions on how to program and has been working flawlessly for well over a year now.

Well, that just so happens to be the FCC ID on my keyfob (2000 2dr). If I remember tomorrow and can do it early enough to beat the heat I'll take a look at my truck.

Lombard, thank you for checking and the quick reply. My new reciever has the oddball FCC ID of KOBUT1XR and the same GM part number as yours. I had a theory from searching around for the full size trucks. It appears the recievers with the GM part number of 15732806 had a possibility of two FCC ID's: KOBUT1XR or KOBLEAR1XR. Hopefully this helps some folks out in the future.

Question

Hello everyone, I have a 1998 4x4 4dr and was just wondering did all 98+ s10 blazers come with keyless remotes entry, cause I don't have a keyless remote I don't know if its cause the people I bought the blazer from lost it or what.

I think so.
check the previous replies and pop the panel under the dash where the obdII conector is and see if you have the black box in the picture
