My 2000 blazer has been giving me fits! I just replaced the fuel pump (ac delco) and then the intake gaskets let loose. Got those fixed and then had trouble getting the timing set right but thanks to this forum I got it figured out. Now it has a miss on # 1 for some reason, full tune up was done 6 months ago and I just replaced all the plugs again. Seems to have good spark, is it possible an injector is clogged? Any help would be great!

Many people are having a similar problem, including myself, with the 2000 V6. But maybe not the CEL blinking, mine is just on. Mine is having the problem at 1500 - 1700 rpm. So I just shift to a lower gear to keep engine speed above 1700. I know it is driving my mechanic batty having a problem he can't solve. He did make a suggestion today that I will pass on. I wasn't able to get any as we were out of it at work, but Autozone will be getting a visit tomorrow from me. The suggestion is Berrymans B13. Doing a quick look at some of the forums, Seafoam also will work but it nis not as aggressive. I was going to spray it into the TBI, but looking at a couple of forums indicate all that will do in clean the throttle body, so looks like it will go into the take on the next fill up in a couple of days. Thought I would pass this along and if it works out ok, can I get some feedback. The mechanic would like to know also. He said it is an old trick, and I believe him. He is about 10 yrs younger than me and I am 73.

I have a 2000 4X4 4dr Blazer LT and had a similar misfire problem. It would throw a P0300 or P0305 code (random misfire and Cylinder #5 misfire) and I cured it with a bottle of Techron Concentrate Plus (made by Chevron) Fuel System Cleaner. One bottle to a tankful of Premium gas and both SES light and misfire have been gone for over a week.

Good luck...
