Hi I have a 1998 Chevy blazer and my back glass will not latch it will but when I pull on it to make shore that it did and it opens right up again and I would like to know if the back glass being open will not make the truck Run because after I messed around with the glass and got it to close I tried to start it and it started right up and then I closed the tail gate part and it would not start again any help with it thank you

 

The back glass being open will not prevent the vehicle from starting or running. You will only get a warning.

As for it not latching, sounds like you need to make some adjustments on the glass side of things until you do get it to latch.
