Default Backfire through the intake

Well my 4.3 98 blazier overheated (she drove it till it died), replaced waterpump, head gaskets, intaketake gaskets, new plugs, (I had water coming out of exaust). Well I think I fixed that problem, went to start it up and it starting backfiring through the Intake, It runs ruff, checked the plugwires, coil ect> I marked the distributor and installed the same way it came out. I am wondering if maybee it got so hot (300+) that I fried the distributor or maybee injecters???? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Zeb....

Default RE: Backfire through the intake

Most likely didn't get the distributor back in on the exact tooth.
