bad brakes
hey all, the problem is on my 98 S-10 blaze 4.3 2wd. Hopefully someone can help me here, i recently change my rearend, with doing so i needed to take my brakes off and while i was putting my new rearend under i also put new loaded calipers on, new lines, everything is tight, been bled and no leaks, but i have no pedal what so ever,
hmm, not sure this will help, but this was from experience with my Expedition.
Last fall, the salt ended up eating the brake lines off the thing (yeah, I wash the underneath 2-3 times a year NOW). Anyways, I ended up bleeding the masterfirst then the farthest to closest wheel untilI got the peddle back. Make sure you keep the master full at all times. One slip and you'll be starting from the top...master....RR, LR, LF, and LR [:-]
You have a ton of air in the lines (assuming you don't have a leak somewhere). Keep on pumpin...get a friend and a 6 pack.
Edit
idn't ask but what procedure areyou using; two people orbleeder pump. The pumps don't work very well unless you apply that clear grease/sealer on the bleeder valve threads. I am assuming this is not the first time you have bled brakes.
