Question Ball Joint Replacement Question?

I am getting ready to replace the upper and lower ball joints on my 1998 blazer. I have read through most of the post on the process, but I have one question that is unclear. The new ball joints come with bolts instead of rivets. On the upper ball joint do the nuts go on the bottom or the top of the control arm. Same for the bottom, nuts on top or bottom? Just to make sure I get it right, those Moog ball joints are not cheap. Thanks for the advice in advance.

the bolts go in through the bottom, the nuts should be on top (for both upper and lowers) . On the uppers, make sure the mounting plate in on top on the control arm, not underneath like the idiot did before on mine. Just replaced upper and lower BJ's on my 1999 blazer 4x4 with the Moog Problem Solvers, heard they are the best. Make sure you put some more grease in the zerk fittings before loading the suspension back up. Also, the Moogs come with a diagram and torque settings for installation inside the box.
