Default Banjo washer question and issue

So my left rear caliper seized (what a shock huh?). So I went to advance and picked one up. I pulled the old one off and put the new one on. When I went to replace it I realized that they didn't give me the banjo washers. I tried reusing my old ones, but it didn't work. They leak when the pedal is pressed but not when it is off. I have read that you can reuse the old ones, but I never have reused them. Of course the store is closed and the website only lists the front ones. Are the front and rear the same size washer? The vehicle in question is a 2000 4 door 4x4 blazer.

Thanks guys.

They are the same according to RockAuto. If you look it up they are under "Hydraulic Hose to Caliper (Banjo) Bolt Washer"

I believe they are the same size front and rear. Check out RockAuto also.

So I got the crush washers for free since apparently they were supposed to come with the caliper. The are aluminum not copper but no big deal. However, there is a shiny smooth side and a flat rough side to them. I have never seen that with copper. Does anyone know which side goes against the caliper and which side goes on the line end?

I've reused them countless times. Usually I take a block of wood and wrap it in 500ish grit sand paper, rub the washer on it on both sides to smooth it out and clean it, then reuse. Honestly have yet to have one give me issues doing this.

I have always replaced the banjo washers when doing calipers because they always come with new ones. I have never had a new one leak. When I have my integras I never replaced the copper washer on the drain plugs and never had an issue. However, oil pans aren't pressurized like brakes are.

I've herd you can heat up thoses cooper washers and make them a little softer and get them to seal back up. A heat gun comes to mind, safe heat. Never tried this myself tho.

I'm with Blazen Red, I rub them on emery paper until they are smooth and re-use them, I rebuild my own calipers so I don't get "new ones in the box" and been doing this for 20 years without a problem.
