Hello Humble and mechanically inclined people.... need some help or advise pleeeasee...
97 balzer 4x4 s/10 body style, my battery ran down the day before because I did not close the rear hatch completely. I charged the battery overnight and the next morning she ran great. In the middle of the day when I was leaving the house I open the driver side door and there was a beeping sound, my flashers were going on and off and the starter just would not turn over. I had it towed to my house less thatn five miles away and never went over 20 miles and hour to overheat the tranny. I removed the started and had it checked at autozone and its fine. I still cannot get anything when I hit the ignition..... any nadvise or suggestions please. Thanks!

Get in the car turn on the key, your voltage gauge should indicate 13 volts or so, if it does not the battery is bad, turn on the headlights the voltage should not drop and the lights should be bright, replace the battery, if the headlights work, then start the car, the voltage should stay high, if not replace the battery.
