So, I have to charge my battery around 3 times a week. I have a new alternator, and newer battery. Idk what's draining that. I do have a Blowstarter because of a DUI but they insist it isn't that. My battery is a side post. My question is, is there a plug or something quicker than unscrewing my battery I can disconnect so nothing drains it over night?

"newer battery"
if you have run it down several times its likely NFG
Find somebody that has a carbon pile battery tester to test your battery
Lots of places are using little testers(battery analyzer) that do a simulated test and they are not always accurate
I would also check your alternator with a voltmeter
GM alternators tend to not like recharging dead/ weak batteries
Does disconnecting the battery cause issues with "blowhard"?

Got a battery disconnect switch, knife switch, and it works by not letting the car sit with the battery hooked up more than an hour or two. Hood latch will wear out in time. Looking for a remote battery kill swithc that will fit in the one and a half inch depth of space near the battery.

I think this is the longest lasting revived thread I've seen lol.
I got a kill switch for my hatchback civic because I could get the key out of the ignition when I turn red it off... was easier to get the 35$ breaker offline then to spend time trying to figured out what part was messed lol.

There are remote battery kill switches, but finding a good one has led nowhere so far. Bought at Chinese one for $68 and the setup directions were too hard to follow, looking for another one. All the remote switches I found were from China etc. Good luck.
