KYB Monomax, love 'em! Hold the road like a sports car and no bounce.

I just put on Bilstein HD's and they seem to be riding great so far. Much better than the worn out deCarbon's that it came with. No more rolling bouncy feeling!

Default Still researching the shocks!

Thanks, everyone, for all the recommendations. I have put four new tires on and that removed a problem with front end bounce from 60-65 and now with a front end alignment, it is really nice to drive on straights as well as corners. I now have the time to look for new shocks without a quick decision. So keep the recommendations and suggestions coming. I do appreciate it. Jim

I see my shocks on the Blazer are the original yellow Bilstein shocks. That may influence me to lean toward the Bilsteins aftermarket shocks. They are good, but a little more expensive.

Shocks and tires that come on your car from the factory are not the same brand quality that you would buy aftermarket. They are mass produced for the car makers and sold to them for reduced rates. They are at best an impersonation of what you would buy at the auto parts store and why I didn't include them.

I have not heard about this before...and what a disappointment it is to hear this. I would have thought they would be exactly the same....why change the production line...but then...the driver is MONEY!.....so.....just disappointed to here this.
