Blazer blend door actuator gone crazy.
Hello everyone!
I've been recently working hard to fix my actuator.
First I took of the battery.
Then I removed blend door actuator. (it was blowing only hot air)
I opened it up and saw this big wheel cracked.
Got new one (identical).
Got battery back on and turned car to run position.
I connected actuator to to electricity but didn't mounted back on.
As it was "learning new moves" i saw that it is turning all the way to the hot position and then 5 degrees back and again to max hot. And just going and going like this and not stoping.
I read that this actuator should do max hot and max cold few times to learn but I can't get this one to learn max cold.
Help please!
P.S. I've got automatic climate controll.

Manually I can cycle the temp door full max and full cold. And I haven't mounted this part on that temp door. Actuator is only conected to electriciy but not mount. I should see how it goes all the way from one end to other.
Took battery off. Installed. Reinstalled battery. Turned key into run position. Waited for one minute. This morning as I drowe to the supermarket when the car came to 90 C the temperature cycled. hot then slightly colder and then hot again and then colder and never stoped doing this.
It's kind a funny thing outside is 26 C and my car ir runnning on hot. The fan speed adjusts correctly, the other actuator wich turns flow from feet to face etc also is working. Any ideas?

Sounds like you have a problem with a temperature sensor in the HVAC then. You really should get it to someone that has the proper tools to diagnose it. A generic scan tool won't help. You need someone with a full feature scan tool that can access the ATC module and run through the diagnostic procedure.
