blazer long start some times

The pump comes up to pressure OK, but it leaks off more than 10 psi in 5 minutes. Now I'm getting a gas smell & the intake is wet & has a strong gas smell after I shut it off. Also my mileage has dropped about 2 mpg. So I'm going to have to pull the plenum off & see what is going on inside. FPR, a spider something is leaking.

I do the same as monster, if I turn the ignition to the on position and wait for the fuel pump to stop, it starts right up

Well shes ran great since my last post only stumbled once a day so when so doesn't start i'll be back with more info. Thanks all for the suggestions
