Exclamation Blazer not starting after working on it.

96 Blazer

Blazer began misfiring and failed emissions. Had dtc code 340 pop up. Cleaned the ERG and ran to clean out carbon. Used another thread in forum on how to do it. Changed Thermostat and then moved on to cam sensor. Changed sensor, cap and rotor. After everything was put back together, Blazer would not start. Battery, service engine soon, and check gauges lights were on dash. Double checked all cables and plugs. Battery had 13 volts on load meter. Even tried reinstalling old parts. Still not starting. What happened? What can I check to further trouble shoot? Thanks in advance.

Is the engine even trying to turn over? What does it do when you try and start it?

The fuel pump starts and it tries to turn over. But it never catches to start up.

Do you have spark to the plugs?

Pulled the coil wire to cap and have spark there. Trying to replace plugs next.

Did you check fuel pressure & leakdown?

When you replaced the camshaft position sensor, did you remove the distributor?

Double check the plug wires at the cap. Common mistake to transpose #1 & #3.
