Default Blazer overheating

I own a 2000 Chevy Blazer. The problem is that the truck is constantly become hot to the point that it is going to overheat. We put the heater on on the truck cools down. We are unable to use the air conditioner during the hot weather. We do not experience this problem during the winter and fall months.

No one can figure out why the truck is becoming so hot. We recently had the radiator changed. Can someone please tell me what to have checked on this truck? Thanks Val

Have you cleaned the A/C condenser? Restricted airflow through the radiator, even a new one, can cause the engine to overheat in hot weather.

Have you checked the fan clutch? A non-functioning clutch can cause a reduction in airflow through the radiator at slow to moderate speeds.

Do you have all of the splash shields, etc in the front of the truck in front of/below the radiator & below the bumper? The front shield is more of an air dam to push air under the vehicle so as to not pressurize the engine compartment which would result in reduced air through the radiator while at higher speeds.

I'm assuming that the water pump, thermostat, & radiator cap were all checked/replaced.
