Default Blazer powered fold back mirror - need to buy one!

My ´99 Blazer has decided to part company with the passenger side mirror!!

So im trying to locate a replacement new or used

The original mirror has
  • powered adjustable tilt to the glass
  • heated glass
  • powered fold back
Do the blazers in the USA have the powered fold back option as im located in europe and it seems fairly standard here

But i cannot find and blazer parts here in europe or the uk

If any one knows of any shops I could order the above spec mirror from could you let me know, uk , europe or the usa

I really dont mind if its new or used parts

thanks

Marcus

I paid $38, on eBay, for the exact same aftermarket mirror, that my local junk yard charges $100 for.

What did we do before the internet? I can't remember!

Hey Marcus, I've been there!

The US trucks have power adjust & heating. Fromm posting here numerous times they do not have the power fold mirrors.

Whilst the Euro trucks were built in New Jersey it seems that in their wisdom, GM decided on the power fold option for the export market only. i.e. Europe, UK, South Africa & Japan.

My truck is ex Japan. I NEED to replace my passenger mirror. I have not found ANY on e-bay!

We have a Chevy specialist (no Chevy dealers) here who imports Blazers from Japan & strips them for the used parts market. A replacement mirror will cost me NZ$400. I can't afford one yet.

Actually, I've just been through the LMC Truck catalogue. Page 83. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cst/full.aspx?Page=83 US$499.95 each

Part No. 29-7152 LH
Part No. 29-7153 RH

$500!!!!!! I'd rather take my chances on blind lane changes!

Wouldn't the NON-power fold mirrors fit?
