Default Blazer Seats

My 2003 blazer LS got rear ended last month but had no damage to my Blazer the other driver nailed my heavy duty trailer hitch with his license plate so the only damage was to his car. Although now my seat does the rock and roll when accelerating and decelerating. My question is does someone make a special repair kit for that. I have tightened all hold down bolts and it seems that the bar and the tract for adjusting forward and backwards is were the extra play is at. But not positive that's all of it anyone gone through this seat issue and cure it or is the only cure replacement of the hole seat.

I wonder if the seat tracks used in the Blazer are the same design as used in the C5 Corvette; which has a problem with the seat rocking.....hhmmmm....

There is a You Tube video for the Corvette seat fix; might want to watch it and then see if the Blazer seat uses the save design.

Good luck

Default Seat rocking

So LannyL81 your 2002 blazer 4x4 does the driver seat rock when you accelerate and stop. Mine didn't until my car was struck by a Inattentive driver.
Thank you LannyL181 I have taken my seat down to the tract and they sure look the same that would be great for a lot of Blazer owners. The company is closed until the 30th so when they open I will find out if parts are compatible with Blazer seat parts since the tract design seems quite similar. I will enter a update if so since most Blazer readers would be very happy to find a fix such as the C5 seat repair.

johnnylovsey: no my '02 Blazer does not have a rocking seat, sorry to have mislead you. There are several companies that carry the C5 Corvette rocking seat "fix" kits or I saw where others have purchased some nylon washers and then sanded them down to the proper thickness. This would be a low cost option, but require more time and effort.

Did you check ebay for the C5 rocking seat parts?
