Blazer with Smartrak Transfer case OIL question
Hi again guys,
I own 1998 4door Blazer AWD. I have no switches for 4x4 in the interior if it matters.
My question is:
Which oil can I use in the transmission/transfer case? There is only one sticker saying I have 136 GM transfer case. Weird thing is that it says it have to be filled with DexronII/III - recommended oil is GM Auto-Track II which is not Dexron??? So which one I can use?
Do someone know what type of case do I have exactly - NP-136 or NV-136?
Any help is appreciated... I´m confused...

That would be NP 136, found in bravada's and awd astro's/safari's.
You're supposed to use the Auto-Track II Fluid, if it doesn't have Auto-Track in it already, you need to put some in, drive for a bit and then drain it all out and put new stuff back in.
