Blazer is stalling when engine is hot
Hello All,
Ok so I have a 2001 Blazer, 4x4, 4.3 with 92,000. When it is hot outside my Blazer is stalling when I stop at signs. Runs great when I am on the gas or if the engine is cool. Also had trouble starting for a couple days.
Things I have done already: new Crank Sensor, engine coolant sensor, fuel filter about 6 months old, checked fuel pressure and it was good.
Was told my timing was off and my harmonic balancer was off by a auto place after they diagnosed it.
Please help any thoughts....
Thanks

Icm can fail intermitently when they heat up. They can be bench tested but IMO it's a BS test because when you bring it in it's cold. Also if it has not been replaced before you need to drill a couple of rivets out anyway.
Hey how long does it take to start back up, what I mean is do you have to let it cool down? Sometimes if it starts right back up it can be ignition switch. Does your airbag and abs light come on just before stall?
