I am in the process of resolving a brake bleeding problem on my 1999 RHD Blazer which is subject of another thread.
It would seem that there is no definitive method, use scanner, gravity, pressure, vacuum and of course the traditional method. Plus, of course, on bench bleeding of the master cylinder. The workshop manual seems to rely purely on the traditional method, if my memory serves me right.Starting from scratch, do you bleed the master cylinder then bleed using the scanner then bleed each 'corner' Is pressure better than vacuum or is traditional method still the best? If you start in the wrong order does that confuse the whole thing.
I have the option of all methods but at this time cannot get any brake fluid to flow though newly replaced pipework from front to all of the rear.
I'm sure I've missed something, but what?

 

If the master cylinder is already off, then you might as well bench bleed it.

Only because it is so easy, you might as well try the gravity bleed system as bleeding the ABS part of the system can be hard to do properly.
