Blower motor

Default Blower motor

Have a 1998 blazer. Blower motor went out.only one I could find the same plug in but not the other plug besides it.Auto store guy said it was a ground wire.what is the other plug for.help

What is the plug on the right for? Don't have on new one .what do I do with the wire to that?

When I replaced my blower motor, I was faced with the same situation. The single exposed electrical connection I think is only for a dedicated ground. The new motors don't need it.
