Default Bolt information for door handle

Hello all, We recently got a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer LT and we were in the process of replacing the door handle and the bolt fell into the door. Can't for the life of us figure out where it went (inside the passenger side back door). We wanted to go purchase a new bolt but I wanted to be sure one what I was looking for. The bolt had a 98 on it and was 10mm. Any idea on the exact bolt I need to fit the part that holds the door handle on?

Sorry if this is a silly question to some but I just want to make sure I do it right and get the right bolt. I'm new to fixing cars but found it to be very fun and well worth the effort.

Thanks in advanced for the help if you need any other info please let me know!

why dont you just go to the nearest wrecker and see if they have one for you;if not just pick up an extendable mechanics magnet from autozone. run anywhere from 5 to 10 dollars.

Thanks I was curious on how mechanics solved this problem as taking the entire door apart just because you dropped something didn't seem efficient lol.
