Brake Controller Install and noise during deceleration
#1
Hey Guys,
gonna try to post two issues in one post.
First, I want to install a brake control unit, the Tekonasha Prodigy, into my 2000 GMC Jimmy, but I a bit lost on the wiring. I have already wired a 7-pin to the back of the car, but obviously there are no wires for some, so it's really just a 7-pin connector with some wires not even connected. This is the guide (2000 Chevy Trail Blazer Braker Controller Install) I am using to do the install, but I can't find the red and blue wires they speak of. Are they not there? Should I just work around them? Let me know.
The other thing is I am getting a noise that seems to be coming from my driver front, every time I decelerate. It goes away when I give it gas. My thoughts are CV axle or wheel bearing. What do you think? Keep in mind, 200k on this thing. I THINK I have replaced the front wheel bearing, but that may have been only on the passenger side. The CVs have never been replaced.

Oops, I apparently posted something about the brake controller already, a year ago. Sorry for the overlap. For those in the future time looking back to try to solve a similar issue, here's the link to that other post. https://blazerforum.com/forum/lighti...ncluded-90400/
Still, anyone with new information, please post!
~thanks
