brake dust shields scraping?
Alright, earlier this year I had my brakes worked on. I noticed a scraping coming from my rear brakes- at first, light scraping, then later on, it resembled a chain sound, or even as of now a tin can being drug down the road. My dad and I figured that it had to be the rotor covers. They were bent to hell when we looked at them, and before the work done to it, I believe they were fine as they didn't make noise. Now, I really need a way to get these things off if possible, or another fix of some sort. We broke alot of the rotted plates off on both sides and bent it away from the rotors so they wouldn't rub, but there is rubbing somewhere. Where, Idk, but it has SOMETHING to do with the covers. Thank you.

mine are shot to...they rusted out so when i had the rotor off i removed what i could.
i believe alot of work has to go into them being replaced so i left them as is.
been that way since last fall...scrapping gone, but so is most of the plate.
