Brake Issues
I have a 2000 4X4 Chevy Blazer. Recently I have had something very screwy going on with my front brakes. The ABS light comes on after driving for a short distance. The thing that I don’t understand is when the brakes are applied and I’m turning left (in most cases), the brakes seem to fail and the pedal pulsates to the floor? I’m usually quite savvy when it comes to mechanical work but this has me dumbfounded! Has anyone ever encountered this? Where the heck do I start?

scan the ABS code, and check whatever it relates to.
...My guess is a front wheel speed sensor.

I think most of use have had this happen at one time or another. After you change your underwear the first time it happens, pull the codes. Then I have pulled the abs fuse to prevent it from happening again. I rather have brakes that work than take the chance of the abs kicking in at the wrong time. As soon as you correct the cause PLEASE put the abs fuse back in. When working correctly, abs is a safe, reliable safety feature that has saved countless lives!!!
I will step off my soap box now. Thank you for listening!
