I know a bunch of people have had the problem where the third brake light works but the other 2 stop, as i read on here the problem is with the hazard button and turn signals, what i havent read on here is this was recalled by chevrolet, i just wanted to put that out there for anyone having this problem

 

My truck will randomly have this problem. I spoke with both the stealership and Chevy but my truck was made 2-4 months after the recalled VINs. They basically said I was SOL on having the issue fixed under recall.

 

As stated, not all vehicles with this problem were part of the recall. The actual recall has been mentioned (actually I believe I posted the complete recall notice at one point or another with the specific VIN sequences covered).

 

mine 2000 blazer was under the recall and it was fixed at that time.I recentally bought this blazer right before thanxgiving last year..The dealership here said it was fixed under the recall but the recall is good for the life of the vehical it never expires..get a second opion if they tell you that you are SOL..
