Brake Lights Do Not Work
#1
Hello all. I have a 1995 S-10 Blazer 4x4. A while back, my brake lights stopped working. They come on with the headlights, and the turn signals work on bot sides. However, nothing happens when I tap the brakes, including the LED third light. I checked the fuses on the side of the dash and they all looked ok. I swapped the brake light fuse with a new one just in case with no change. I am lost when it comes to electricity. Can someone point me in the right direction?

There is a switch on the brake pedal. It could be bad or it could be the turn signal switch or possibly that both bulbs are bad. But i would guess hte brake switch on the brake pedal from the sounds of it.
1 check fuse 1 a 20 amp brake/hazard fuse. turn on the headlights and then turn on the hazard lights. If all 4 corner lights blink then im guessing the turn signal switch is ok.
2 with a test light you need to check for power at the brake light switch then press the brake pedal and check for power at the other side.
