Default Brake pads

I was just wondering what your opinions were about brake pads that you've used. I'm thinking of using EBC pads but have not had any experience with them. So what ever you brand give me some info, I appreciate it.

I have bendix on my blazer right now. The guy at the shop recommended them because they were a bit cheaper then the premium brand and he claimed they hold up just as long. They seem to work fine but are a little squeaky. It might also be my fault since I didn't have the rotors cut. Hope that helps.
