Did you bench bleed the master cylinder?

Im pretty sure you still have a brake booster, check to see if theres any brake fluid in that or in the vacuum line that runs to it

Eskymopack's question is quite valid. I have seen air in a master cylinder cause all kinds of odd problems. The ONLY way to get it out was to bench bleed it REPEATEDLY! Sucked!
