Default Brake problem?

I have a 1998 4x4 S10 Blazer that I have been trying to fix to sale. I was driving it a couple days ago and noticed that when taking off from a stop the, I think back wheel(s), make a groaning noise and it hesitates to go for a second. Also when foot is off brake and gas it doesn't creep a long like normal. When I got home and parked it I could smell a burnt smell pretty heavy coming from the back area of the car. It seems like brakes are being applied but the parking brake isn't set and I'm not pressing the brakes. Could this be a stuck parking brake? Other than this problem it is running and driving fine as far as I can tell. This is putting a damper on me selling it and I hate to dump more money into repairs.

You'll need to pull the wheels and check it out. Could be a seized caliper guide pin, a seized caliper piston, collapsed flex line, or something with the park brake.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'm going to try and get it to a shop so they can at least diagnose it.

If they diagnose it for you, we can help you with the repair.
