My step dads fuel pump went out on his '98 olds bravada and I'm gonna probably replace it for him. I'd appreciate if anyone could give me some pointers so I can go about this job with some peace of mind and ease. Should he buy a delphi pump off ebay or get it through the "stealer ship". Any how I'm almost certain its the fuel pump because when I pressed the schrader valve in no gas spewed out, not even a little. Could we get lucky and possibly have some faulty wiring or a plugged filter? I swapped relays around an still nothing. He mentioned he recently started using sinclair gas which has a 10% ethanol blend. Also the other day he went to start it and it made a sputter and wouldn't start until he cycled the ignition once or twice more. Any ideas? Thanks
