I actually took an off ramp on the interstate a little "spirited" I guess you could say. The noise did not seem to get any worse while cornering.

The acceleration noise is like a grinding. It goes away when you let off the gas. However only does it while you are moving. Holding the brake in D and giving a little gas doesn't make it happen.

If it was a bearing problem on the passenger side & you were turning to the right, I wouldn't expect it to get worse.

It sounds strange, but this ramp was a left turn.

Well. Here goes nothing. Time to give it a try.

I suspect the bearing. I've never done bearings or CV joints, are these something you should do at the same time? Or is it worth doing the bearings first, then doing the CVs if the noise persists?

Do you happen to have a link to the bearings so I have a better idea of what I'm shopping for?

Thanks again!

This link should provide the information you requested.
4wd Hub/Bearing Assembly Replacement
Once the hub is out of there, the CV shaft comes out through the steering knuckle (what the bearing bolts to).

Thanks for your help. . I'll let you know what the results are.

Is there anything else that you can think of that I might as well replace while I'm in there?
