OK, I don't have a lot to go on. I am looking at buying an Olds Bravada for my kids. The one I am looking at has a good body.

Description:
Selling our 1997 black Oldsmobile Bravada. It has a brand new alternator and battery. It doesn't get driven often enough and we need to get rid of it. It runs sometimes, but not quite sure what is wrong with it. So it does need some work. Clean title and has about 113,000 miles.

Anything I should look at with the "it runs sometimes"? I know it is not a lot to go on. Hoping to get a few pointers before I go look at it. I will be taking my scan tool with me to check codes. And will be asking a lot of questions. I will post more when I know more.

Really need more info on the "runs sometimes" to diagnose...

Is this a "sometimes it will start, sometimes it won't" scenario, as in the engine is turning over but wont fire in some cases? Does it run fine for a day and then the next day it wont at all? Does it run for a few minutes and then shut off and wont start back up again? Does it sometimes not want to even turn over to start (possibly the reason for the recent battery/alternator replacement)?

 

thanks for a response despite the lack of info. I will know more after I look at it. I will post again when I know more. Those are some of the same questions i have.
