Default Breather Lines?

I heard if you plan on or might be going through any decently deep water (over the diff) you should change out your breather lines from your diff, tranny, and transfer case. Looking underneath I couldn't really find any to relocate.

Do the 2001's have these breather lines or are you supposed to change out diff cover and add on the lines?

Has anyone relocated the breather lines if there are any?

Default RE: Breather Lines?

Yes, your truck has these breather lines. The rear diff uses the bolt that holds the rear brake line tee to the diff, there will be a line coming off that bolt that goes up to the frame on the drivers side. The trans and t-case actually tee into each other, and they terminate up at the trans dipstick tube by the red handle, and the front diff comes off the top of the diff and goes up to the radiator fan shroud on the drivers side by the air box. The only one that you would really need to relocate would be the rear diff since the others are all terminated higher then the air intake for the motor, and if you are that deep, you are in trouble anyway. HTH, Good luck.
