The lock on my tailgate broke and I can not open it. The button on the dashboard will not even pop open the window as well. Please let me know if you have encountered this and what did you do to fix it as well.

Also, when I put the key into the tailgate it will not work as well. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the actuator inside the tailgate panel has broken. Use the 'search' function for some of the posts regarding the repair.
