Default Bumpstops

So after an exciting 95,000 miles, I had my lower ball joints replaced yesterday, and today I was crawling under the car to change the fuel filter, so I thought I would inspect the new ball joints. While I was looking around up front, I noticed this:



Since the passenger's side looks like this





I am assuming that dry-rotted, trashy lookin orange thing on the driver's side is the bumpstop, and should probbbbbably be replaced. How hard is it to replace a bumpstop?? I couldn't really see how they were mounted, then again, I was rushing to get the fuel filter done before turkey time

It's pretty simple to replace the upper control arm bumpers. There's a nut on top that holds them to the control arm.
