Default a/c blowing hot air

I read somewhere that my blazer could have a problem with a stuck sliding door that goes from hot air to cold air. Under the dash? someone posted how to fix this on a previous post, can anyone give me tips on how to fix this?

thanks
fletch

Are you sure that is your problem? Also, the first information we need is what it is that you are working on. From there, I will move this thread into the appropriate section.

Also, you may want to link to the how-to thread you are referencing as well as ask specific questions about where you are having difficulties with the information posted in that thread.

Hey Thanks for the reply,

I have a 98 Blazer. The person who i got this truck from said the a/c was working fine before he stopped using it. It sat for about 5 months.
What else could it be? Maybe needing some recharging?
Thanks again!

Yeah, just recharge it. After sitting for so long, it probably is gone. So just recharge it, if that doesn't do it...i'd check for leaks.

I would check for leaks while recharging it. You can buy a recharge kit that has a tinted color if you use UV glasses. That way when you are putting in the recharge stuff you can check for leaks.
