Or maybeI need to replace a sensor......its really embarrassing for a girl to have to run out to turn it off all the time. I've been leaving my doors unlocked for a few days now & I'm starting to get nervous doingthe such. Can someone give me a sugguestion???[sm=feedback.gif]

are you sure someoneisnt playing games with you by kicking your tire and setting off the motion sensor? also do you have a pin sensor under the hood for when that gets opened it would set off the alarm, theres a chance that it may need to be adjusted..it could be sumtin real simple or it could be a malfunctioning alarm box.. How old is the alarm? also if you have your keys with fob in your pocket or where ever it could be getting pressed and the panic is setting it off..
Ummm what is FOB? And no, no one is setting it off.......its a 2000 Trailblazer. It has the Factory alarm....no motion, just door openings& glass breakage will set it off.
You might also want to have your battery checked for power. My aftermarket alarm started doing that randomly and it wasn't long after that when I noticed my battery was in need of replacement. You can take down to a parts store like Advanced Auto or AutoZone ect. and they can check it for free and be sure to let them know what is going on. Have them check the actual voltage when it's not running, voltage drop when starting the motor, and the voltage at the battery while it's running. The last part of that simply makes sure that the alternator is still working properly and not putting out too much voltage.
[sm=dontgetit.gif] My driver side door also doesn't lock when rolling when I push the lock button on door. My battery is fairly new. The only other thing I can think of is that I had new door speakers put in a few months ago. Could it be the battery on the FOB? I have never changed it.
My 2000 trailblazer has a re-built tranny 3yrs ago, new exhaust, fuel pump inside tank fixed and I need a heater core. No hot heat only enuff to defrost windows. I atleast have heated seats. I think it's time for dinamite.[sm=jawdrop.gif]
theres a car where i work that the alarm goes off at the same time every day but she says it only happens at my place of work, its an acura RL i think we both think theres a radio frequency that is givin off by the place just my .02
If you did have new door speakers put in the front, there may be a wire that got pinched or they may have crossed two wires somewhere. It may also help us to know where you may have taken it to have the speakers put in.
