Cheap way to read Camshaft Retard
Here is the edit gauge screen for the cmp retard in the last image. Make sure you save gauge. I have noticed that i sometimes have to restart the guage screen on my phone before it will read data and display data on the gauges. Your experience may vary. Good luck! Let me know. As long as it recognizes your vehicle on main screen under Palmer Performance logo you should be golden.

Good job on the CMP retard! So it seems that Car Gauge Pro does have some problems with the early OBD2 Blazers and that Dash Command is an alternative (but slightly more expensive $20 solution) for CMP Retard on those vehicles.
Did the Car Gauge Pro developer let you keep the software? You may find it kicks butt on your Ford and it's worth keeping on your phone. I would be interested if Car Gauge Pro does SIR and Airbag on your 2000 Ford (it is a different earlier communication protocol than my 2008 Ford Ranger). I have a bunch of different OBD2 softwares and they all seem to have their place for different vehicles and things that you want to do.
Sorry, no fuel pressure monitoring on our Blazers as there is no sensor.

you really shoild try to get it to 0 +- 2 or you may have cross firing under your cap
For 96/97 use Dash Command. $10 for the App and then download the extended PIDS for your vehicle for another $10. Only cheap way. They do get you for $10 for each vehicle in this app if you want extended PIDS but they always seem to work correctly!
