Unhappy Chevy s10 blazer 1997 fuel problem

i have a 1997 chevy s10 blazer, one day just randomly stopped working. drove downtown and it wasn't acting up, driving normal and no weird sounds or anything. when i came back out to start it, i put my key in the ignition and no warning lights or anything would come on. my sound system and power everything was still working, checked the connections on the battery and starter everything seemed fine, when i tried to start it, it was trying to turn over but wouldn't fire up. we checked the spark plugs and they weren't putting out any spark. i'm not entirely sure what the problem is, any suggestions? my first guess is the computer and/or fuel pump. possibly electrical connections to the fuel pump are messed up?

So lets get this straight. The starter would engage and the engine would turn over but it would not start ?? Turn over and start are two totally different problems.
If you have no spark at the plugs then check for it at the coil. If there is no spark there then the ICM needs to be checked next, then the crank sensor after that.
