Unhappy clunking? need some ideas?? don't let me down!!!

i get a clunk clunk at start up. it sounds like the exhaust hitting under my feet. i checked to see if that was it, but it did not even move. i checked the torsion bar and it did not move. it only does it on start up. the engine runs just fine. i can not hear or feel anything when driving at any speed. this is odd to me because it just started today. i was thinking maybe a bad engine mount. i have no idea at this point.

Sounds like motor mounts (a real fun job) and don't forget about the tranny mount.

By start up do you mean when you start the engine or start to go when stopped?
