cold start issues

Default cold start issues

Alright i have a 1995 blazer vin w . ive replaced the plugs wires and distribiter cap. it will not start easily cold once its warm it'll start fine i have checked the fuel pressure and its fine im running out of ideas i heard check the tps and iac sensors ?

Check this link. The procedures are basically the same for your 1995, but the specs are different. Post all 4 readings.

I have a 2000 blazer that when it's cold outside (30 degrees or so) it cranks, fires then immediately dies. I had read in other forums that if you slowly turn the key just to the point of engine crank it will start. CRAZY...it works. I've had 3 mornings to try this, this morning it was 15 out. It fired immediately, I swear I almost didn't hear the engine turn over and it was running. I do not know where to go from here about what the problem is but try this if you can, if it works for you, maybe someone with higher knowledge can figure out what direction to go.

Classic symptom of a faulty ignition switch.
