Default Complete Maintenance on 97 LS

Alright, I bought a 97 LS a few weeks ago now and I am just trying to cover all of my bases as far as a good maintenance is concerned. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what else I can clean, change, test or do to cover all the common maintenance related issues that can surface on a used Blazer.A list ofhas been done and will be done is as follows:

Lube, oil, filter - done
Air filter - done
Plugs, wires, cap - done
Fuel filter - done
Transmission fluid and filter - done
PCV Valve - done
Coolant flush and fill - will be done very soon
Rear and front differential and transfer case fluid change - will be done soon
Cleaned MAF sensor - done

I was having a few problems which I am hoping was caused my the dirty MAF sensor that I just cleaned- that was the only code that has been thrown at me so far. If anyone has any suggestions on any other sensors, fluids or filters etc.,etc that should be done please let me know- by the way, this website is the best thing since sliced bread! Thanks guys!

Default RE: Complete Maintenance on 97 LS

If you don't have an owner's manual, get one off Ebay, and get a Haynes service manual at the auto supply. They have all the routine maintenance info you could need. From your list I would say have the suspension checked out and an alignment done, if needed.
