Computer Climate Control - totally dead!
Hi, my computer climate control has suddenly gone completely dead, the panel lights up when the headlamps are on but nothing on it works - not even the rear defogger. It's as if it's lost all power, I assume the illumination is a seperate circuit altogether? Have checked all fuses in the interior fuse panel + underhood but they're OK. Am I correct in assuming that the control panel contains the "brains" behind the system & is it easy to open it up to check things out? My Haynes manual has little or no information on this system, can't even find a circuit diagram for the climate control.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Following on from my previous post, I noticed something else earlier - my A/C compressor is running ALL the time! Not even cycling! The suction line was frosted right over when I looked under the hood earlier with the engine running - very weird! Only way to stop it is to remove the A/C fuse. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Can't understand how this problem happened so suddenly.

Problem solved!
Found a used unit on Ebay for £40 (about $62). Put it in & everything's working perfectly again now. No more hypothermia & fogged up windows in the mornings!
I am one very happy person right now!
Strange how the old panel just died all of a sudden - had nothing except illumination when the headlights were on! Have kept it to look at sometime to try & figure out what went wrong.
