Talking Converting to LED taillights

Hi everyone! I could use some help, I put LED bulbs in my 1998 blazer and the bulbs are flashing really fast (electronic flasher thinks bulbs are blown due to LED's low current draw), i do not want to put a load equalizer in the circut, i was trying to find a LED compapadle electronic flasher with no luck, if you know of an aftermaket LED compapidle flasher please post! (its a 4 terminal flasher) THANKS

you can never have to many. i've had 1 Dime, and 5 Blazer's/Jimmy's, and that doesn't include all the part trucks i've had! besides if the guy has that many, then that's all he drives, and that's all he has to know how to fix.

I got mine from autozone. Just look for the heavy duty flasher for your truck.

you mean you're using the HD one that you'd put in for towing? i think they're supposed to be rated for up to 10 bulbs, or something like that. and i think they say something about being electronic.

this thread has just got me thinking (about LED's and quick flashing).
when i built my car trailer, i only had the rear stop/turn lights, with a pair of marker lights @ the front corners. i redid it last Summer, replaced the damaged fenders, added another set of tun signals up towards the front, angled out so others can "see" them (they still can't see my signals, they never move out of the way!), and added 4 amber marker lights to the front side of the stop/turn signal housings, and all of the lights on the trailer are converted over to LED, but they seem to "flash" fine. no rapid pulse flashing, and the truck isn't affected (doesn't matter if i'm towing with my Burb or Blazer). any ideas why i'm NOT having any problems like you guys? (i'm using the HD relay i mentioned above)

As stated, you need to buy an HD electronic timing flasher unit. Most autoparts stores will have this on the shelf. The good part is that the flash timing is controlled by an electronic circuit instead of the old thermal circuit (based on load) so it doesn't care how many bulbs you have or what they draw. The only down side is that you will not have any indication of a burnt out bulb without visual checks.

You can never have enough S-Series!!!!! and for the guy with the trailer, you dont have a problem because betwwen the LED lights on the trailer and the Normal filiment style bulbs on the truck it draws enough amperage to not have a problem. And thanks to everybody who supplied the helpful websites!!!

lol I agree you can never have too many, but i meant more of the how? as in space and storage? and do you drive them all like different days of the week or what haha

that would be me. after i posted, i got to thinking along the same lines as what you said. but if i did switch to all LED running lights on my truck, do you think the HD electronic flasher relay i have in my Blazer now, would function the same way?
would luv to see some pic's of your Wildcat by the way (beautiful design for the final year). i had a "Wildcat 465" i was building up for my LeSabre before it got wrote off by a drunk driver. too bad i scrapped the doner car (was so rotten it wasn't funny), and too bad i got rid of the engine, considering how hard it is to find one now (both the engine and the car).
