DID you wire high setting to come on with ac?

Yes. The Intrepid fans are wired together from factory with low/high. I separated the fans, and wired them so that in the summer one fan (controlled by a switch) is always on low, and kicks to high when the AC comes on. The other fan's low/high resistor is burned out and it is always on high so that fan is wired to come on when the engine coolant temperature reaches 90*C (195*F). Most of the time when I'm driving with the AC running the engine never gets over 85*C (185*C) and the second fan rarely kicks on.

This is exactly what I need. I'm trying to get my cooling under control before I start hitting more trails. Genius set up!!
