Core Support Headlight Rivets

Default Core Support Headlight Rivets

bought a front clip from AutoParts Warehouse the core support came without the rivets for the headlight assembly any suggestions on how to put the rivets on the new core support I was thinking about drilling them out and somehow screwing them back in... any suggestions- thanks

could you possible use a small bolt with a nut on each side of core support?
probably would stick out to far.

Just get the proper sized rivets and reattach it. Rivets are cheap. I picked up 20 stainless steel 1/4" rivets from Grainger for like $15 delivered. It does require a large rivet gun though.

Thanks Guys! My local Grainger store closed by the time I read your replies I was able to scrape up some rivets around the garage put a couple of locking washers on the head end of the rivet to make it stick out far enough for the plastic retainer to lock in... worked like a charm.
