Default Crank Sensor Spacers

I've been getting an Intermittent skip from Time to time and Finally got a Code for the Crank sensor. I ordered a new AC/Delco Sensor but I was told that it does not come with the spacers to adjust for an aging engine (which Maybe all thats wrong with this one) Can anyone tell me where I can get spacers to adjust it so I dont have it to close and end up with the same problem that I have now.

You can get the crankshaft shims at your local dealer, i know autozone sells them for a little more & they have to order them. Good Luck

Were there rub marks on your old sensor? Autozone has the shims, I think they're like 4 bucks a piece...

Have not pulled the old one out yet as this is my primary transportation. As soon as The part gets here I'll pull the old sensor out and check for grooves.
