Have a 1998 Blazer LS 4.3 Automatic. Every time it rains and is humid it will crank but will not start. After a good dry day it fires right up. Anybody have an idea what I need to look for.
Thanks in advance,

sounds like an ignition problem... Like when a dist cap has a crack in it.....

2002EXTREME......That is what I thought also,New distributor cap, rotor button and plug wires and still same problem. This is all I have tried so far and don't know where to look next.

When it is doing this, do you have spark? I would remove the coil pack and the ignition control module and have them tested. Both can be tested at Autozone or Advanced Auto. A cracked coil could be fine during low humidity and short in high humidity...
