Default cruise control install tips ??

hi everyone !!

i'm new to the forum, had my jimmy for about 3 years now, it's a 2005, 5spd, 4wd, great little truck. only 60k km's and i'm thinking of adding a cruise control .. i've searched around the forums but haven't found any info on whether this is possible or has been done before .. can anyone help me out ?!?!

Wow, that must be a bare bones truck... You are not going to like the answer... To go with a stock cruise setup, you will need to get the PCM/BCM updated to include the proper programming for the cruise to work. You will also need new wiring, a new mutli-function switch, etc.

Your best bet would be an aftermarket add-on cruise setup. I have never used one though.

bump. anyone have an easy fix for this or know where to get a jobber cruise?
